I´ve a problem during installation blackberry desktop soft 4.2.2 on a windows vista system (Toshiba Satellite)

I´ve succesfully installed the application on a W-XP older System, ut i need to work on a vista PC.

(sorry by mi english, i´m from spain)

My spanish blackberry and mobile provider called ORANGE has told me that tehy don´t give support about blackberry software.

The error message i received:

"There is a problem with this windows installer package. A script required for install to complete could not be run. Contact

your support personnel or package vendor. Custom action RIM_InstallOptionalITAdminFiles script error -2146827859, Error de

Microsoft VBScript en tiempo de ejecución: El componente ActiveX no puede crear el objeto: "Scripting.File..."

I´ve been using a 8700 Blackberry for 2 years, recently i´ve adquired a 8820, but if i can´t install and use correctly the software in 5 days, i will change blackberry for nokia for all my company, because i don´t know what else can i do!!

Please help me!!

I could explain this problem much better in spanish if possible.

hello,

there can be two explanations about that.
1) you need to decompress the installation file on your desktop and then run the installer from there.
2) there is a script library missing on your Windows Vista
