Hi I cannot install the latest desktop software on my windows machine. I get a error message about some verification of the the file needed. I've tried to install the necessary certificates myself and still i get the same message. Please help me

Can you please reply with the exact error message and with Windows operating system you are using along with Service Pack, alot with what version of BlackBerry Desktop Software you are trying to install (or the name of the file downloaded).

Same issue I ran into today, while attempting to install version 6.1.
Looking at the certificate it appears that the certificate path on the package isn't set.
It simply has "research in motion".
On a previous package research in motion is under Verisign Class 3 Code Signing 2009-2 CA, which is under Verisign Class 3 Public Primary CA

Hi this is the error message that I get:
"The installation files cannot be validated.Please Verify the installer package and try again."
It's for version 6.1, I downloaded it from the blackberry website in November 2011

I still had a copy of an older package.
I re-installed the older package and was able to run an update from within the application.
