I downloaded the new software v 4.7 with media manager. First, when I was trying to update the software on the phone, it gave me an error message, then a day later, I came back and tried to sync my cal. It worked, but later after I had added some things in I went back to sync and it gets half way through and either Intellisync gives me an "unexpected error" or I get the 'fatally terminated error" message. If I shut my computer off and then turn it back on, it will allow me to sync again (once)...any ideas? Thanks!
5 1/2 hours later.....
So shutting off my computer and trying to sync again did not work...seems to have to be an actual day later...

Are you using VISTA? If so open DTM by right clicking and run as administrater
C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Intellisync
C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Intellisync
Once you find the folder delete it.
Go back to Desktop Manager,
-Syncronization, (configure Sync)
-Set up Calender/Task/AddressBook/ Whatever you use.
