Apparently, the / and & characters also need to be deleted from tasks to allow a sync.  This solves the same error trying to synch tasks.

i keep receiving this error code randomly: "0x8004ffff check documentation" when i connect my curve 9300 to teh PC all teh way at teh beginning as the desktop manager attempts to access teh address book to check the updates and asks me to confirm teh sync.

however it goes away when i unplug and replug the device or when i restart teh desktop manager or the PC and then address book is accesses fine and the sync is done fine, however i would like to know the cause of it in order to avoid it
