Yes, disabling the link for the attendees does allow you to sync your notes Calendar, BUT if you have meetings that were created by someone other than yourself (as im sure we all do) the alert function does not sync over. The alarm will work on my PC but not on my BB. Is this linked to the fact that BB does not see me as a attendee of the meeting because that area will not sync??
I am not always attached to my PC and having a alert to notify me of a meeting is a very important function.

I have not found this to be an issue. I have several standing meetings that are created by others (internal and external) and the alarm does go off on both the PC and the BB. Sorry I am not sure why it is not working for you.

Are those who created your meetings also listed in your Address Book? It just seems to make sense that since i cannot sync the attend list, that the BB would have no idea if my name exists for the meeting.
Also, any meeting i create myself, the alarms work fine. Its only those to which have been created by someone else and i have to accept to attend.
In the history of this post, it seems im not the only one having this issue. Any Idea's???

Is anyone else having this issue??
Does anyone have any idea on how to fix it so that Alarms will sound on my BB when the calendar meeting was created by another person?

PC : IBM Thinkpad T60 : Windows XP SP3
Email: Lotus Notes 6.5
BB : Blackberry Courve 8310
I had originally setup Contacts & Calendar synchronization via USB. Everything initially functioned OK before october 2009.
I can synchrnizaces Calendar, phone list and task - 2 way push/pull.
Then about two week ago the Calendar update ran, flagged the update changes. When accepted the Desktop Manager software crashed. the problem started whent I installed the BB Desktop Software 126.96.36.199 them i have to update my BB operative software for a new version 188.8.131.52. Ensured the registry entries were clean etc.
I tryed to unistall and re-install BB DESKTOP MANAGER Basic Version But i can´t fixed so in this moment i can´t doing syncrinizaces with lotus calendar.
The software intellisync never show me or can activate the opcion (Lotus Notes) because it doesn´t appear, i only see two opcion to choice for syncronizaces (Import / export ASCII or Yahoo).
Any thoughts on what is causing this would be appreciated.

I also have the problem where calendar alarms are not set if I receive an invite from another user. The alarms work as expected if I create the calendar entry.
I am using a Storm 2 - 9550. Not connected to BES. Syncing with Lotus Notes 8.5 using BlackBerry Desktop Manager 184.108.40.206.
I have uninstalled my Desktop Manager completely and reinstalled using a fresh copy from the website without success.
Could it be the field mapping is different between a meeting I've created and one that I've accepted? Has anyone found a solution to this?

I disable the attendees’ part in the sync, but another error came out and it says:
“An error occurred while setting the connectors; options. Some of the connector options may be invalid or missing”
What can I do to solve this out? Please help
Thanks in advance
