Media Manager Display Requirements

I am using a Dell Netbook and cannot set the display options to the settings required to use Meida Manager. Is there a way around this display setting requirement? I like everything about Desktop Manager on my Netbook, with this exception. Thanks, Greg

Re: Media Manager Display Requirements

Hmmm...well, a "requirement" would be exactly that, I'd suppose... See this KB:

KB15430 Your graphics do not meet the minimum requirements to display the media manager

Re: Media Manager Display Requirements

I am having the same problem. I am using an Acer Aspire Netbook and the closest I can get to the required resolution is 1024 X 600. It would have been great if the people who do the programming had taken this kind of thing into account. Right now, as it stands, the Desktop Manager is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine in my case. We can only hope that someone takes notice and decides to remedy the situation.:smileysad:

Re: Media Manager Display Requirements

Hello and Welcome to the Forums!

In regards to your hope that RIM will see your message -- these forums are a user-to-user support channel, not a user-to-RIM conduit. As such, it is unlikely that they will see what you have written. However, if you have specific and constructive ideas for them, I have heard that they accept such via email to bbsuggestions@rim.com.

Good luck!
