Ok...
You just need to match your OS with the OS download. Install the handheld software on your PC and you should then be able to mount your Media Card using Mass Storage. You will then see the media card as a drive letter. Make sure you have this set: OPTIONS / MEDIA CARD / AUTO ENABLE MASS STORAGE MODE WHEN CONNECTED - Yes.
Once this is done and you can mount the media card as a drive letter and manage it, you should be able to use the Blackberry Media Sync correctly. BTW, I don't use the Roxio as once you are able to mount your card as a drive letter, you can manage any aspect of the data except the Blackberry Media Sync. The BB Media Sync will do a nice job of letting you sync your play lists in iTunes. the rest of your data can be managed like a thumb drive.
Let us know how your doing and I hope this puts some closure on your issue.

What worries me is that I have no OPTION | Media Card in my BB settings.
Not in options.
Not in advanced options.
Best regards,

Bear with me as I do not have the Bold (yet)
I think that there is on board mem on the Bold but not sure if this works with the BB Media Sync.
I also know you have the capability to use a Media Card. Now, I am wondering if the BB Media Sync will only work with the Media Card installed?
1gb cards are now only about $7 to $10.00 dollars. I just upgraded my 4gb to 8gb for $25.00 shipped from Amazon...

On my BB Bold I have a "Memory"-option (German "Arbeitsspeicher").
In this area I can set the "Mass Storage" to ""automatic".
Meanwhile I de-installed every BB software on my Vista PC and erased my BB.
How do I continue?
Best regards,
-Adrian

Install 4.6 Desktop manager.
Install the Bold 9000 Handheld Software
Install BB Media Sync...
I would look into a MicroSD card.
Make sure your installing as "Administrator".
