Outlook 2010 32 bit not syncing with Desktop Manager

I used 0utlook 2010 32 bit upgrade from Outlook 2007 on my Sony Vaio running Window Vista and synced just fine with Desktop Manager 6.0.  I bought a new HP laptop running Windows 7 and reinstalled the same Outlook 2010 and the new Desktop Manager Ver 6.1.0.36 and haven't been able to sync with Outlook because the applications under Configure Settings does not recognize and show Outlook.  I am not on an exchange server, nor do I have the Blackberry Enterprise Server.  I read the documents and understood that I could directly sync my Blackberry with Outlook 2010 either going thru Bluetooth or USB. Please send me a note ASAP!

Re: Outlook 2010 32 bit not syncing with Desktop Manager

Hello anplanas,

The following article will provide you with more information regarding Microsoft® Outlook® 2010 not displaying as an organizer within your BlackBerry® Desktop Software:

When synchronization settings are configured with Microsoft Office 2010, the Microsoft Outlook translator is missing - http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB23978

We hope this helps.

Thank you.
