Re: Preparing Sync Preview freeze

Well I tried both.

Deleting Data didnt seem to work so I had to do a full on Wipe.
I hope it's just a unique case. Luckily Restore function works very well.

Re: Preparing Sync Preview freeze

To actqb .... thanks but did not work for me at all.  In fact it created more work in having to redo some setup items on my phone.

I gave up and ended up doing a restore to the phone and all email issues went away ...and my history came back.

However, I did notice a few comments indicating it worked.....hopefully for  a longer time.

cheers

I was lucky and only had to blow away my data.

Re: Preparing Sync Preview freeze

How do you just delete data without doing a wipe?

Re: Preparing Sync Preview freeze

There is an option in DM6/7 in a drop down menu, delete data and You can either select all or certain things. But there are so many its often difficult to know which items to remove.

Re: Preparing Sync Preview freeze

I bit the bullet and selected ALL, after being a good Gatesware user and did 2 backups first.

Re: Preparing Sync Preview freeze

Yes, that worked. Thanks for posting it, Richard. Can't get the wasted time back, tho. I've only had this thing (9360) for a couple of months and there've been bunches of problems. We're on our own out here which is bullsh*t. I'm looking for a new phone.

Re: Preparing Sync Preview freeze

You must rollback your DM version unfortunately. from 7 back to 6. You can find one if you look or luckily have the exe file lying around.

Re: Preparing Sync Preview freeze

This is unfortunate for RIM, I feel for them but just how many business people alone are affected by this synching issue...
