Problem Sync after restored from BB protect

Dear Blackberry support..

 

To be honest, i only have one question that is need to be solved..

 

The story begin  on January.. a giant flood strike our city.  My blackberry was gone.

Thank you there is a blackberry protect that keep backup all my data online.

BBM is okay because we just need to login with our ID. and it restored perfectly.

 

All is good until recently.. i have another device with zero address book.

I want to copy all my phonebook from my blackberry to this new device.

The only way to do it.. is SYNC... i used to do this before.

 

So i plug my cable.. open my desktop manager.. and do the backup and sync.

All is good... until i find out that.... i got 650 contacts on the phone... and BB desktop manager only sync 13 contact to my notebook. How could it be???

 

I did the research and find that some people have the similar problem with me..

Seems like it only sync what i input manually on my bb phonebook... 

All phonebook that "restored" from the bb protect.. cannot be sync.

 

Right now i am using Blackberry Curve 8520 and it just like new.. completely wiped. and works normally.  and i just did the restore thing from bb protect aftersince then.. 

Have the latest version of BB desktop manager.. and i did tried it on my PC and notebook.. with the same prob of result.

Hello SKYBOLD,

 

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community.

 

The BlackBerry Desktop Software will only syncronize with your default contact list.

 

To change to the correct service where your records are stored, complete the folllowing:

 

Device Software 5.0

  1. Click on the Options icon
  2. Click Advanced Options
  3. Choose Default Services
  4. Change the appropriate Contact service

Device Software 6.0

 

  1. Click on the Options icon
  2. Choose Device
  3. Click Advanced System Settings
  4. Choose Default Services
  5. Change the appropriate Contact service.

Once you have set the default service to the Address list, test syncronization once again.
