I too am having Bluetooth connection issues with my Bold 9780. When I try to connect with it, Windows and the phone each gives a connection code and they dont match. I had no problem setting up my 9000, windows gave me a code and i typed it into the phone.. that was it.

Still nothing on my dilemma of no Bluetooth connectivity, still having problems with this 9780. I have successfully connected a 8100, 9000, before it bricked My 9930, but every time I try the 9780 I get a code generated by both the computer and the phone. I am using Windows 7 pro 64 bit, DM 6.1 and BB OS v6.0.0.666. I have also tried BB OS v6.0.0.723 with the same result. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Ok, so here is a bit of an update, The 8100 will connect to the 9000 and vise versa but neither will connect to the 9780 or vise versa. does anyone know of an issue with the bluetooth and v6.0.0.666 or v6.0.0.723??? gonna try a wipe and re-install the os.

Hi,

My problem is solved. Culprit was phone password. Remove it and Bluetooth connection won't give aby problem even with desktop manager 7.
