Says Calendar not installed

Dumped the new version of desktop and went back to the last one.  Works OK except for the Calendar synch.  When I go to configure the Organizer it take sme through the steps to configure the Calendar from Outlook but at the end it is greyed out and says Calendar (not installed)

Worked fine before but the new desktop really made a mess.  Now using the old version 6 that BB has on the download page.

Any suggestions on how to get calendar to synch?

Thanks

Dave

Re: Says Calendar not installed

Hello DaveB375,

The following article should help regarding the issue you are experiencing with the Calendar listed as "not installed" using BlackBerry® Desktop Software:

BlackBerry Desktop Software displays address book or calendar as not installed within Organizer - http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB23978

We hope this helps.

Thank you.

Re: Says Calendar not installed

Thanks but after all the problems with the new desktop software and the damage it did to my email accounts I am not about to wipe my BB and start over.  I understand you're trying to help and I'm grateful but a solution of "start over" sounds like one from DOS 2.0
