Sync Error

I have a BB Curve 8520 and since I updated the desktop software, I simply cannot sync with my laptop computer. It keeps saying there's a recurring appt and although I've deleted any appts in both device and laptop, it STILL says there's a recurring appt preventing the sync. Any help much appreciated. (And I don't use FB calendar either).

Please provide the exact and complete error message. Or better still, simply search on it both here in the forums as well as in the public KBs:

If nothing useful is found, I suggest this thread:

It starts with a process for cleanly starting over, and there is some discussion, and there is also a post (15) with links to older Desktop Software versions, if those are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work...but it has worked for many to resolve issues they are having.
