Sync issues

I have 9780 bold and cannot get the desktop software to accept the selection of Outlook for syncing calendar and address book. I go through the steps and then click finish, and the boxes for calendar or address book are not checked. Please help!

Which version of the Desktop software and which version of Outlook. If Outlook 2007 or 2010, is it a "Click to Install" version, or a full version? If it is a "click to install" version, you will need to get the full version. You can get it from Microsoft's website for free.
