Sync problem after updating desktop software

Yesterday I updated my Blackberry Desktop Software to Version 7.0 Bundle 2404 and since then my Blackberry Torch 9810 will not sync properly - it keeps freezing and I have to reboot my computer to get out of it.  What can I do?  How can I go back to the older version which worked perfectly?
