Sync problems since update

I have a BB Torch 9860 which I sync with Outlook on my PC. Yesterday there was an update for Desktop Software and since then when I try to sync it appears to go through the motions ( it doesn't use Intelli Sync anymore apparently??) and then just hangs on "Preparing sync preview". I'm baffled (not that it takes a lot to do that). Any advice please?

RIM is aware, trying to fix it.

 

Until then, you can downgrade to DM 6.1 if you want.

--From your PC > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs, remove your current BlackBerry Desktop Software.
--Reboot your PC (Start > Turn off , etc)
--Upon startup, download this file: "610_b034_multilanguage"
from this link: http://www.blackberryforums.com/rim-software/253387-archived-rim-desktop-software.html#post1744114
--Install that file by double-clicking on it and following the prompts to complete the installation.

Hey Chezz, try something for me, a solution...

 

Do a custom backup and UNcheck the Social Feeds from that.

 

See how the sync proceeds, and let is know here?

I was just told by BB that DM6.1 is no longer available.

Please, we're on another subject here now.

 

DM 6.1 is available, in certain places, it's been posted in this forum a dozen times in the past 24 hours.
