After installing the lastest software and reconfiguring it 6 times I still can't get past the error message which appears once the software starts the calendar sync. (Contacts and Memo work fine)
ERROR: COLTransBase:: GetSummaryRecordField: Caught unknown exception

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
With the latest Desktop Software, there have been several similar errors. For some, things work perfectly, for others not so much. Consequently, the best recommendation I can give you is a truly clean "start over"...here's a process (with subsequent discussion in thread, including a way to obtain older versions):
