Both the wife and I have a BB 8310 Curve, run DM 5 and both have a computer with Outlook 2003.
In our situation there are 4 possibilities to enter/change info, and that always leads to canceling sync, because of calender problems.
We have more than 5,000 entries in our calendar, and on both the computers and our Curves we want the updated info from our calendars.
The moment we sync, the calendar almost allways causes the following issue:
Intellisync asks to remove most of the calendar entries on either the BB or in Outlook, which we do NOT want.
When it happens we cancel the sync, delete the Synchronization configuration of the specific BB, and re-enter all the sync settings for that BB.
Then we have to sync again, and because we cancelled sync (what should leave everything unchanged, but does NOT) this most likely leads therefore to syncing just the last 2 months of the calendar entries.
There is enough memory available on the BB, every item is set the sync, appointmets are kept forever
The solution we tried is the following:
My BB only syncs 2 ways with her Outlook 2003, and only form my BB to my Outlook 2003. This means that I can not enter data/changes in my Outlook anymore, but only in my BB. We thought we had the solution, being: ruling out one database causing syncing problems. We are wrong.
What can we do to solve this extremely irritating issue.
