Syncing Issue

I am trying to sync my contacts and calendar using a usb connection to the blackberry desktop software. When i open the software and the BB Curve is connected, it automatically tells me that it encountered a problem and needs to restart. If i open it without the BB connected and then connect it, it starts to sync fine, but halfway through either just stops or freezes.

 

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software as well as taking the battery out of my BB. Neither of these things have worked.

Which version of the DM are you using?

 

Can try one of these two things:

 

  1. You can try and delete the Intellisync folder, then try synching again to see if it's successful: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11703
  2. First perform a clean uninstall of the Desktop Software: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02206
