Earlier I was using BB desktop software 6.0. Later I updated to version 7.0. Due to some windows installer issues, I un installed the version 7.0 by using jv6 power tools application. During un installation, I had been prompted to delete some registry files. After that I downloaded the version 7.0 from black berry US site to re-install the desktop software. During installation of version 7.0, Windows Installer popped up and showing
"The configuration data for this product is corrupt. Contact your support personnel."

I would suggest that you perform a clean uninstall of your current Desktop Software

and then, download the latest v7.0 Desktop Software and install again.
