I have been trying for days to install the desktop software for my Blackberry 8350i.
I have an HP G60 with Windows 7.
I have tried even installing the older software and it is still now working.
I keep getting the "The wizard was interrupted before BB Desktop Software could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run setup again."
Help!!!!!!!

Are you using the users tools cd to install?
If so try downloading from blackberry website:

To install BlackBerry Desktop Software on a Windows® based computer that had an earlier version of BlackBerry Desktop Software installed on it, complete the following five tasks. These tasks should also be completed if the BlackBerry Desktop Software installation or removal procedures did not complete successfully.
I need to upgrade the DM but am hesitant after learning about your update travail.
You posted that you did clean the Registry. Did you follow the "5-steps" described in KB02206?

I have a MacBook and have tried several times to install the Desktop Manager for my Tour 9630 smartphone from the CD and from the Mac version on the website and the answer I get is "software does not support your current operating system." What the heck does that mean?
