Can't seem to get calendared items from the BB to sync with the Public Folders calendar in Outlook (Exchange 2003, Outlook 2000, no BES). It does sync the other way (Outlook to BB) w/o issue. What's happening is that the items calendared on the BB are syncing with the "private" calendar under the username (Outlook Today - Username - Calendar), and not the "public" calendar (All Public Folders - John Doe). No items are marked as "private" on the BB.

I have similar problem where I can't sync (both ways) my 8830 BB and my Outlook, The DM is 220.127.116.11 and my BB software is 18.104.22.168. I don't see CALENDAR in database list of Backup/ Advanced but I don't see it in application loader list of apps to add to my BB.
Any idea what should I do?

I am also having a problem with my 8330. It is only syncing to the bb or if I put an appointment on the bbusing gmail. If I use my outlook (self employed business) and schedule an appointment on the bb, it will not sync to my desktop.

I am attempting to sync up my BB Curve 8330 with my Outlook Pro Plus 2007 on my Vista Pro computer.
Previously, I was running Vista Home and had no trouble syncing using my Desktop Manager 22.214.171.124. Now, every time that I try to sync my calendars, I am told that I have new additions to make to my device calendar. However, it's always the same number of additions and now I am getting duplicates.

I have just bought a navman (similar to TOM TOM) it is also a hands free device for calls. I wont to transfer my contacts list but after connecting it terminates connection as soon as I try to transfer contacts. Can anyone tell me were I am going wrong

Initially I was able to sync with no problem. After an update to 4.7 then back to 4.6 on my Desktop Manager and running my 8830 on V4.5, I was only able to see 1 week of entries on my Outlook Calendar. As I enter more data on Outlook Calendar, they seem to sync with my BB. Unfortunately I am locked out from updating most data including weekend and non-business hour data and any recurring events.

Same issue here. Curve 8330 OS 126.96.36.199, Desktop Manager v 4.7, I do have CALENDAR, CALENDAR-ALL, and CALENDAR OPTIONS in advanced mode. For the first couple of weeks after getting my Curve I was able to sync the calendar. Now when I sync I get the process screen for about 1 second and it goes away, and I cannot sync Outlook to Curve and vice versa. Issue resolved. After a call to Verizon, who then got someone from RIM on the phone, it was determined it was a corrupt download of 4.7 from the website. After redownloading and reinstalling, sync is working great now.
