Unable to sync

New to BB world. I have a Curve 9360. I downloaded BB desktop software version 6.1.  I'm trying to sync my Outlook 2003 calendar and contacts with my BB. I think I was able to stop the wireless sync from my device (very tricky). 

When I select the options in the Calendar/Notes/Contacts/Activities window and I follow the procedure, at the tab is not selected. There is no way the tab remains selected. Help please!!

Self reply, but maybe it can be helpful for someone. I had Microsoft Activesync installed on my laptop, as I had an HTC phone before running WM6. I uninstalled Active Sync, I uninstalled BB Desktop Sofware rel. 6, I downloaded CCleaner and cleaned all registry and temp folders.

 

Then I installed BB Desktop rel. 5 again (I had problems with rel. 6 before) and everything ran smooth.

 

Probably the installation of rel. 6 on top of rel. 5 didn't work properly.
