Thanks Man! This actually worked, although it took me most of the morning to figure out, i had to resort to the last opttion on your list, using the command prompt b4  it was solved! Phew, after a whole week of di-activation, Thanks once again, I wonder what started it in the 1st place.........anyway its done now

i skipped clearing addresses and backing up and just rebooted, taking battery out. IT WORKED!
