Hi All
I updated with the most recent upgrade when I last tried to synchronize my Torch 8800 with my Outlook.
It has never worked and although it reads the content it never goes past the '"preparing synchronizing report" stage.
Task manager does not say that the programe has stopped responding and it seems to be using over 50% of the CPU but doing nothing.
Any ideas?

Mitch, it's a know issue with the newly released Desktop Software 7, as you'll see hundreds of posts here in the forum same as yours.
Your choices are to just wait and see how soon RIM fixes this, or to downgrade back to v6.1
