Bifocals,
Thank you for that suggestion.
For some reason i can not find an refernece to / option to turn wireless sync off or on on BB.
i have tried Menu / Options under calender, contacts, memo pad & tasks but these does not seem to be any such option.
Any suggestions?

most people including me install over the old DM 5 and think it will remove it. Well it doesnt and both versions will clash each other. Once you remove DM5(make sure you uninstall includes removal of settings as well). Once you remove DM 5, the new DM will work like a breeze

I updated to version 6 but it wouldn't sync my calendar.
I uninstalled it and reinstalled it but that didn't work.
I uninstalled it and reinstalled 5 and that still hasn't fixed it.
It will sync my outlook task, contacts, and notes but not the calendar.
Curve 8900, windows XP 2002 processional, Outlook 2007
I'm dying without my calendar. Any help?
Thanks

I have uninstalled DM6, and downloaded & reinstalled DM5.

If i had known this at the outset i wouldnt have wasted days on DM6!
i will not be accepting any updates from RIM in future.
If it aint broke....

I think I am now on my 5th time downloading version 5.
Could this be something in an outlook setting?

Totally frustrating. After upgrading to WIN7 I clean uninstalled DM 5 and installed DM 6. When trying to sync my Outlook 2010 calendar and Address book, it stops after reading the BB 8820 and reports "One or more configured folders are not available. Update folder mapping and try again". I had been very successful with DM 5 running under Outlook 2007/ Vista for almost a year. Now I'm dead in the water.
What do I have to do to make this thing work?
