I had the same problem in January when I got my phone, and, couldn't believe that "I" had to figure things out!

That was great advice! I would not have been able to do this without this advice. Thanks for the effort that you put into your reply, I'm sure that this advice has been used by many people!
I did exactly what you said, finally after the express install of patch (?) files, the Blackberry desktop application opened! I bet it would have taken a lot of phone support to get this far. Thanks!

I'm having the exact same issue with my DM 6.0.2 on my PC running XP ver 2002 Professional Service Pack 3. The problem started happening immediately after I updated my Desktop Manager to the latest ver 6.0.2. I need help on this one, trying to run a business and this is making it VERY difficult, PLEASE HELP! I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling 6.0.2 and all other previous versions, rebooting and no luck...
