Read email not showing as read on Blackberry Device

My company is currently migratiing from Lotus Domino to Office 365. I'm currently one of the pilot users for this migration.

I'm having problems with my read mail still showing as unread on my blackberry, If i read an unread email on my blackberry first my outlook shows it as being read.

All other tasks work ok (deletions, sending, receiving etc)

Can anyone please shed some light to why this might be happening?

Many thanks

Re: Read email not showing as read on Blackberry Device

Had this problem. Seems to be a bit haphazard. Switch off BlackBerry. Switch off exchange active sync support in 365 admin. Wait fifteen minutes. Switch EAS Back on. Power up BlackBerry. Should work. Other things to check : that BlackBerry configuration for eas 365 email account went through Advanced setup as this explicitly offers eas setup rather than auto config.
