I installed 4.5 on my curve 8310 with no problem. But, my phone is horrendously slow! Sometimes it will not hang up from calls (the "I'm thinking" icon hourglass is displayed), sometimes I cannot read my email for up to a full minute while it "thinks". I cannot call out sometimes as it is "thinking" as soon as I click on one of my numbers. It is seriously hampering my access to email and phone. Sometimes I will not recieve calls...I can see the hourglass icon, the phone lights up, no ring or anything, and all of a sudden there is a "missed call" message...I've watched it do this while I had someone call me. I have done battery pulls and nothing. the phone says I have low memory, but I have a media card that is empty!  I really need to fix this performance slowdown. any help would be greatly appreciated!

the memory that is low is not the one onthe media card, but the one on the device.

home screen >> options >> status >> File Free

File Free should always be over 10'000'000. How much do you have?

i have 2065944 bytes free..... last night I removed brickbreaker (some game) and the blackberry messenger (which I do not use) as someone suggested on another post. I have 3 non-blackberry apps--live search, CNN mobile and a cities of the world theme.  it seems to be running a bit better since I deleted those two things though...so far.....
