When I purchased my BB the SA told me I could upgrae the software to include the new features; ie: video recording. Can someone help with this? This is my 1st BB and I love it, but I want more. Who doesn't? Also keeping in mind that I haven't got internet access, other then my BB right now. Thanks

Can you please confirm which device OS you're using now? If device OS is 4.5 then you'll be able to record video. Your carrier will have access to updated OS once that is available by to your operator. In that respect you're carrier provided you with correct information.

I have just upgraded my 8310 to OS 4.5.0.37 last night from Germany's Carrier Vodafone.  So far no problems, highly recommend following instructions found in these threads.  I would like to upgrade to one of the Beta versions of OS 4.5 but can't find anywhere to download.  Can anyone help please?

Also, this docs2go app, looks great, got it all loaded and upgraded to get the "excel" program but how do I use it?

I'm also assuming with the OS 4.5.0.37 version the HTML email and viewing online videos still isn't possible.

At what site did you get the 4.5 os from? And do yÓu have video?

I went to vodafone.com to get it.  It's the OS 4.5.0.37 release and so far so good.  Took about an hour to upgrade without any issues. 

Yes I have the video recorder, no I can't see videos from youtube.com yet.  That's why I was wondering where to find the higher Beta versions.

So I was bored last night and finally found a website (which I cannot disclose) that I could download the OS 4.5.0.52 for my 8310.  I got it installed on my phone in about 30-45 minutes without any issues.  So far, so good.  I really don't see much difference from the OS 4.5.0.37, but I guess the latest Beta version just fixed whatever bugs there were.  Then again I only use the phone for internet, music, pictures, cameras, videos, email, text (SMS and MMS), and games.
