Another Move from Exchange 2003 to 2010 (cannot connect now)

Hi since my exchange account was move from Exchange 2003 to 2010 I can no longer connect via BIS to the server

My It guys do not really support BB devices but suggested that if I over a resolution then they may apply it.

So far, I've found out that the 2010 server has EWS turned on and has Forms based authentication turned on (which could be the issue)

The old server address was https://staffmail.mydomain.ac.uk/exchange/ and the new is https://outlook.blackburn.ac.uk/owa/

Any suggestions on what the issue might be, or will the Express version of the BES work for me, if they install it.
