im having a frequent problem when im typing a bbm message to someone, at times the area where i type goes blank, but if i press enter, it still comes up with what i typed. it then carries on staying blank in the typing area, unless i delete that conversation in bbm and start a new one with that person.

any one else have this problem or know of any solutions?

ive tried to take it back to the previous BBM and reinstall BBM 5 but solution....

Hi Jamamini and welcome to the forums!

A couple of us have had this happen. A battery pull clears it but I haven't seen a fix.

I will post when I do.

No data will be lost when doing the following: pull the battery while the device is ON.
Replace after a minute, Let the device reboot 1-3 min, see if the problem is fixed.

I too have been having the same problem. I do not however do a whole reset. If you simply delete the conversation and start a new one the cursor will reappear. That is the only way I have found to resolve the issue and have not heard anything about a fix. Probably just another kink of BBM 5.

I've been facing the same issue as well. Infact I've faced this issue in Gtalk as well.

The only way to get back to seeing what I'm typing is ending the conversation the respective app.
