BLACKBERRY ERROR CANNOT GET IT WORKING FULL STOP AND I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS ERROR.

yesterday casually on my phone downloading an app off of the app world it had completed so it asked me to reset, so i did so i can use this app. when the phone had rebooted after 5 MINUETES which is a piss take, it came up with a white screen with error 204 reset, every time i reset it, it does the same, it wont connect to my computer to wipe it or hard reset it, i need my phone as it is the only way i can contact my family as i dont live near them. can you sort something about it thanks.

Welcome to the Support Community!

If the BlackBerry® Desktop Software is unable to connect with your BlackBerry® Curve™ 9300 smartphone, I would recommend trying to force a detection to reinstall the BlackBerry® Device Software. For further steps, please see the following KB articles:

For Windows® : "How to force the detection of the BlackBerry smartphone using Application Loader" http://bbry.lv/IAfXWd
For Mac: "Unable to application load a BlackBerry smartphone showing JVM 507 or JVM 513 using BlackBerry Desktop Software" http://bbry.lv/J0V8BH

Please note that this process will remove all data from your BlackBerry® smartphone.
