Hello,
I am trying to help a friend who is using the Blackberry Storm using TELUS as an ISP. I am also on the TELUS Network but have the 8830.
Anyways, he is using a an Exchange e-mail account and has BES setup in the office. The only problem is it seems TELUS is not acknowledging his device. When he tries to log into the Internet Service for TELUS it does not accept the credentials, after speaking to TELUS they said that it is a password issue but the password has never been changed. We know that the Exchange account and BES server are Ok since the IT department where he works does not seem to be a problem. It looks like it has to do with the blackberry's connection to the TELUS network.
I know that I have given details that are pretty vague but if anyone has some advice or guidance that they are willing to share it would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Max

Hi Tanzim,
Thank you for your reply. Yes all the other devices in the BES environment work just fine. We are quite sure that this is between the individual handheld and its ISP. Any more thoughts?
Again, really apprecaite it.
Regards,
Max

Hi, I'm having the same/similliar problem, BIS is not picking up my emails even after constant resending of service books to my phone with successfully setup verification emails and I just keep receiving this message:
"This email account is not currently accessibile by your blackberry device, this issue may be caused by a temporary problem with your email provider. Blackberry Internet Service will continue attempting to access this account"
However I am recieving my emails in the usual way with windows mail or directly using my isp webmail, wifi is switched on and i have checked with my ISP all is normal with their mail servers.
When i first got the phone a few weeks ago all was working and my test emails were received which confirms login was correct and established.
Please can someone help before I get to the point of returning it to BT and purchase an applephone.

Hi MaxAvion,
Can you please check with you're carrier that the SIM is provisioned for BIS service or not? Usually BIS is provisioned automatically along with BES.
