That's exactly the same issue we see at uptous.com. Looks like it's a real and significant Blackberry issue. I hope that they can do something about it.

Hi guys,
We are experiencing a similar issue.
What service are you using BIS or BES? Also, any chance this only happens with certain BB devices?

Guess what? This thread has gotten some very very rare attention from internal RIM folks. And they cannot reproduce what is documented here. And they cannot think of anything that changed in BIS around the time you mention that would have caused this. And they can't think of any way to help further via these user-to-user forums. And that they'd like to talk with you about it all.
But, the only way to do that is if you formally escalate the issue, through your service provider, all the way into RIM. But they want you to know that it is really really important that you be 100% certain that what we talked about is 100% true...that it worked fine before, nothing changed with your outbound email handler, and it stopped working about a month ago.
If you can attest to that, then they want you to escalate through your BB service provider. You might have to gently push a little bit to get past their front line "defenses" and into their internal BB support folks...but that's not even far enough. You need to get escalated all the way truly into RIM in order for this to get to those who have now taken a look at this thread and offered the advice.
Be patient. Be gentle. But be persistent. Once you get to those correct folks (no, I cannot give you names), you will be with those who really can help, I am sure.
Good luck and let us know!
button inside of their post. Further, if you are the original poster (OP) and your issue is solved, please remember to (on the post that is the solution) click the "Accept as Solution" button so that others can more easily find it. Cheers! Oh...and FWIW...I am not a RIM employee...and these forums are user-to-user...not user-to-RIM.

I went through all our Reply email records and it seems that the problem indeed started around the beginning of October. Maybe others can confirm an earlier date. For sure nothing changed on our email server - I don't think that we even restarted it at any point in the last couple of months - maybe we should?
Escalating through the service provider sounds like an impossible task but I'll try. I know for sure that the problem exists through Verizon because I personally can recarete the problem on my device but it may be happening with other providers as well.

Making the service provider to understand the problem sounds hard. May take forever. I 'm afraid you guys will be dealing with a class action before they even aknowledge the problem... lots of mails are getting lost with this bug.

It took a couple of hours but I did reach Blackberry support eventually. They have been able to recreate the problem and I'm now in wait mode. Will be happy to update the forum once something happens. I think that the more website owners approach them, we have a better chance to reach faster resoluion. I have a feeling that it is not a quick fix but will let you know.

This is just a quick update. I've been in touch with Blackberry Support. They have been able to recreate the problem and more or less admitted to a bug on their side. It is a major bug but they have not provided me with estimated date for a fix. I hope that it is soon but if any of the other people who noticed the issue can help to push, that would be great.

Any update on this? This lack of Reply-To is really messing with my emails and I can't figure out a workaround.

It is a really big issue for us as well. Not sure how we can push this for fast resolution though.
Any ideas? Any infulencers?

Blackberry Staff,
Why has this issue taken so long to fix and why has the communication on this been so poor?
I'm not sure the blackberry team realise what a huge knock on effect this "bug" is having on systems worldwide.
See this thread for example: http://forum.37signals.com/basecamp/forums/1/topic
As a keen blackberry and basecamp user I find this feature absolutely vital in the runnings of my business. Thanks to this supposed server glitch when upgrading my business has suffered massively as I am unable to reply to tasks in in project management tool (basecamp).
Similarly, when replying to emails our staff signatures no longer appear on emails.
Can Blackberry please prioratise this problem and give it the resources it needs to fix it, and at least update the community as to whether this problem is even being looked into or not?
Thanks in advance.
