Just got my new BB Bold and love it

I have a couple of numbers I am trying to get working (ie "511pp4951*). This happens to be traffic for the boston area.

In general I like the help I get from smart dialing, but it adds the country code and and area code to these if I dial from contacts.  Is there a way to stop smart dialing for individual numbers like these?

you can't disable Smart Dialing for some numbers.
what you have to do is find the full number for those short numbers.

try on the internet, I just found this for instance : http://ops.fhwa.dot.gov/511/locations/boston.htm

Not a Blackberry solution, but great out of the box thinking!  I like being able to keep my smart dialing turned on.

This is really a headeache. It is a simple thing, I just don't want smart dialing option as it is irritating me more often then serving the desired purpose.

This is rediculous, I can not simply disable the unwanted option.
