I can't seem to download any apps from BB app world. It always bring me to that window where I have to login. I tried logging in but it won't even allow me. It always comes back to that login page. Please help! Thanks in advance.

Have you created a BlackBerry ID?  If not, go to www.blackberry.com/blackberryid then try again.

I am having the exact same problem as Oweness, and I have created a Blackberry ID, but it will not go beyond this, cannot download any apps now, everything was working fine before I had to have this ID. Please give me a solution...thanks in advance !

Hi mondsmum,

Try completely uninstalling and reinstalling BlackBerry App World then login with your BlackBerry ID.

Hi. Ok uninstalled app world then re installed. It did let me download the msn messenger app so hopefully okay now, fingers crossed ! Thank you :-)

I AM HAVING THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM I HAVE A BOLD 9700 AND I CANT DOWNLOAD ANY APPS.......I DELETED APP WORLD AND REINSTALLED IT...NOTHING STILL AND I ALREADY HAVE AN ID......HEEEEEEELP..!!!!

Mine still will not let me download apps after deleting app world then reinstalling then managed to re install msn (newer version) and now as before asks for ID then nothing once I I have put ID in correctly . Must be a common fault so can't beleiive there is no solution. :HEEEEEELP as well !!!

I have tried everything. I have deleted and reinstalled app world 4 times. I have deleted and created new id's about a dozen times. i have tried creating an id on my computer and then logging in on my phone. 

Can someone please tell me how to log in to this **bleep** thing.

Wish i never did that app world update now!

I've had the same issue with my Onyx 9700 and my friends Curve. The primary reason why Im visiting this site is to look for a solution but I guess Im not gonna be able to find one. I and my friend have been dealing with this for at least a week now. We did every basic trouble shooting e.g. rebooting the device, reinstalling the app downloader but nothing really fixed it. Though in fairness, If you try to download on a later time it could work or it works (at least for me) but after a while it goes back to the same problem again. The previous version which doesnt require us to put user and password was better.

OK FOUND A BIT OF A SOLUTION HERE.....I FIGURED THAT IT WAS THE NEWS OS GIVING THE TROUBLE SO I DOWNGRADED MY OS TO AN EARLIER VERSION 5.0.0.330 (PLATFORM 5.1.0.91)..THIS SOLVED THE PROBLEM I WAS HAVING AND I CAN DOWNLOAD AS MUCH AS I WANT NOW....IT STILL ASKS YOU TO SIGN IN BUT IT WORKS AS SOON AS YOU HAVE SIGNED IN......SOOOO IM APP WORLD STRESS FREE NOW...LOL HOPE IT WORKS FOR THE REST ..............
