Re: Damsel in distress

Far be it from me to leave a damsel in distress stranded without an answer.  :smileywink:

If your BlackBerry service is not connected, that means there is something wrong with your BIS; either it wasn't added to your cell account properly or it was and it's not working properly.

First, let's register your phone on the network.  Follow the instructions in this article to do that:

http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB00510

Next, we'll resend the service books to your phone:

http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15402

Once you've done those two steps, remove your battery while your phone is powered on then replace it.  Try your phone once again.  If you're still having issues connecting, it would then be time to call Vodafone and make sure the BIS is properly set up on your account.

I hope that helps you.  :smileyhappy:
