Email Setup application not working (please help)

Hi All,

I've a 9700. BIS&BES activated and working. Corporate E-mail working properly.

when I want to add my personal POP3 account I go to set up then e-mail configuration and after clic I get an error message saying:

The device has a problem when conecting to the server of this aplication. Select accept and repit the action to try again" this is a pop up window with a question mark on left.

The BES Admin says they have no restriction to add personal accounts.

What do you seggest I can do?

Thanks

Re: Email Setup application not working (please help)

With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

Now, try the BIS account setup again.

Re: Email Setup application not working (please help)

No luck.

After calling my provider I know the following:

BES is activated

BES Admin says no restrictions from BES to add up to 9 POP accounts

BIS says connected but not activated in my provider

Provider says BlackBerry Argentina won't allow BES pop accounts :smileysad: , but yes in Chile or Uruguay.

Is this true? BB Argentina won't allow pop accounts in BES?

Thanks,

Juan
