Hi all! I've just installed the Gmail plug-in and I'm using it with my GoogleApps Account and my Gmail account on my BB.
My issue is that I don't see any of my custom labels on the device. So when I receive a new message on my GoogleApps account I cannot apply any label or my custom labels. Infact, when I open the Labels menu, the usual items (inbox, send, archived, starred etc) are all grayed out. So I can't do anything anyway!
Please help! How do I get my custom labels and how do I apply them?
Thanks in advance.

i'm frustrated with this app ... kinda works, but has a lot MISSING ...
if you know how these items work, please let me know ...
- ability to see what it currently in your inbox, NOT just items received since install
- ability to 'send as' ... being able to send as the email address sent to ... as per settings in gmail.
- ability to search the 'archived' emails
does anyone know how to do this? i'm using version 1.xx ... is there a newer version?
how do i get it? does it incorporate these items ...

I'm afraid the plugin-in appears great until you try to use it.
I have all my email accounts in one google account which is great. The real bottleneck is not to do with gmail, but blackberry. Until BIS allows the use of proper IMAP folders these plugins will never work. The shortfall is with Blackberry's refusal to produce a fully-functioning IMAP email client.
If you need control, search and folder ability for IMAP email there is no proper solution. Logicmail is pretty decent, but I cannot get it to work with my 9700.
The best work around I've found is the google mail app that you can download and install. The only frustration there is that you cannot label emails.
I've disable BB email as it's too frustrating.
Would be interested if anyone has found a proper IMAP email client for the blackberry.

Just retried logicmail with my domain email address hosted by google through google apps.
Couldn't get it to work before, but using the WAP 2.0 setting in the configuration it works a treat.
Logicmail is a fully featured IMAP client with full folder support. It does not display HTML emails, but that's coming and i can live with that. You can move email to different folders (ie labels). Would highly recommend you try it.

I have T-mobile and same problem. No one knows how to disable that stupid thing.
Absolutely hate it.

Here is one way of doing it. People succeeded, but mine 9700 gives me an error.
