Why rim doesn,t block pin?! Strange, rim own the server, doesn't he? So rim can block any or even all pin In the world.
You are customer of the mobile provider, not RIM. You can call your provider.

Why rim tolerate this kind of criminal problem, rim should help the costumers not just think about profit.
Oh sheeze, chill out. They have to think of profit or they would be out of business. Ever tried to own a business yourself and never think of profit?

Is it rim answer? Or just another rim costumer opinion? Rim need costumer to get profit, so they should make us satisfy or else. PIN is belings to RIM not provider, I ask rim to block MY PIN not the PHONE, FYI my country is biggest bb user in the world, rim should show some respect.
This is a user-to-user community support forum. We are not RIM employees, but volunteers who enjoy assisting other users. RIM personnel rarely comment on queries posted here. You would have noticed this in the message upon registration. We here are users just like you.
Please, you're being disrespectful yourself. It doesn't matter how many users your country has, the instructions above work, and I'm sorry you refuse to understand them.
You can always call RIM direct if you wish. www.blackberry.com/contact

I asked Blackberry to block my stolen playbook (through PIN), so I hope they did. What wonders me is when they can block the device, why can't they give the IP address the device was connected through when they did. Or just send tracking software to it, the device has a GPS onboard. Samsung, Asus, Acer, etc. can.
Regards.

Blocking a device by blacklisting the PIN, does not require the device to have been connected to WiFi at the time. The PIN is blocked on a central database by which the device's access to the network is blocked.
