OS 4.5 for the BB 8100?

The update page says it's available, but the web updater says that 4.2.1.107 is somehow the latest.  I don't understand.

Hello evolver and welcome to the forums. 

 

There are plenty of 4.5 OS versions out there, your carrier may not have approved one yet. Here's a link to what you might be looking for: http://crackberry.com/crackberry-4-5-os-roundup

I was using the link here, which says 4.5 is compatible with the 8100; but the updater there says there's no actual update.  Since this is my backup device, I don't desperately need the update; I just wanted to be current and thought it was really live.  I can wait.
