i downloaded the new software yesterday and it's fine except that i can't figure out an easy way to move across days in the calendar day view. The older version had the days of the week at the top and you could just scroll to next day. Is there an EASY way other than going to view agenda and using the space bar?

You can just scroll in the same way, it just doesn't have the day indicator at the top.
The main problem with the calendar is how sodding zoomed it is - I want to see more than a few hours at a time in day view without endless scrolling. A lot of the new OS seems designed to result in massive endless scrolling because thats 'cool', and just being able to look at the screen isn't.

I wish I knew the answer to this problem also: with OS 6 swiping from one day to the next is exasperating and almost impossible; and, the shortcut that works with weeks and months and agenda -- hitting the space bar -- does not move the calendar from day to day, but only scrolls within a day.
The day view simply cannot be used in OS 6, so far as I can see, and one must resort to the agenda view. It's a very annoying and seemingly inexcusable glitch.

I have found through trial and error that "n" gets you to the next day and "p" to the previous day, if that helps.
I, too, wish you could continue to swipe to get to the next day.

Thanks. Sadly for me, on the day-view entering an "n" and a "p" only enter "n" or "p" as calendar entries at a given time. Neither will change the day itself.
By trial and error, I have discovered that if I scroll very deliberately, using almost the whole length of my thumb -- from below the first joint to the tip of the thumb -- I can produce a movement from one day to the next; but, it's quite a nuisance and impossible to "thumb through" numerous days at a time.
This seems such an odd glitch, since you can easily thumb through the week-view and the month-view.

The "n" and "p" work to move days forward and back if you turn off "Enable Quick Entry."

Thanks so much. This works!
Now if only the day calendar would scroll with anything like the ease that the week and month calendars scroll.
