Phone not working

Hi please help, i was using my phone then it just cut off battery went when i put it on to charge it came on and wont do anything, its stuck on Blackberry platfom 5.2.0.67, it gives me a list of apps but will not go into them it says error starting net_rim_bb_file_esplore:module 'net_rim_bb_remindermanger' not found, it says it on all of them except for bejewelled which it will play, my phone wont do anything at all.

 

i tried ringing it, it rang but didnt ring on my phone and then it came up with missed call.  i cant access my home screen, contacts, messaging or anything.

 

can anyone please help me its a curve 8520, ive tried turning it off removing sim etc etc PLEASE HELP ME

 

IVE JUST RE started it again and it says uncaught exception: applicationregistry.waitfor (0xbfca090409ffe99e5) timeout if this makes sense to someone

I have done the software restore and still doesnt work  :smileysad:

Hello!

I recommend that you attempt to boot into Safe Mode:

  • KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in Safe Mode

It may take you multiple attempts to get the ESC key sequence (press/release/hold) correct, so be patient. When successfully into Safe Mode, see what happens.

 

If the behavior ceases, then immediately proceed to taking a good backup (link in my auto-sig on this post). Then, think carefully...what happened just before this behavior started? A new app? An update? A Theme? Something else? Think carefully as the smallest change could be causal...and attempt to undo whatever that was.

 

But if the behavior continues even in Safe Mode, then you may have more drastic measures to attempt...WIPE, reload OS, BBSAK Wipe/reload, etc.
