hello

i have blackberry storm 2 ( 9550 ) and before i can take a picture and send to any one but after i reset data and update the OS to 5.0.0 i can't do this any more when i try send photo the only options i have is ( Email ) the sms is no available any more why ?

SMS has never been available for sending a picture. On any BlackBerry, ever.

You are wanting to MMS the picture. Is that option available?

If not, see below:

On your BlackBerry device, go to:

1. Options > Advanced > Host Routing Table > Menu > Register.

2. Resend your service books from your carrier BIS site:
From your handheld device:   http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15402

Go to the Personal Email Set Up icon and log in. Then under Help!, select Service Books, then select Send service Books.

From your desktop PC:  http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02830
North American Carriers - scroll down to select your carrier
WorldWide Carriers - Find your carrier on the list

3. With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot. This reboot, even if you have already done this, is often needed to install the service books.

On the BlackBerry smartphone Home screen, click the E-mail Settings icon. If you are running BlackBerry Device Software version 4.5 or later, the E-mail Settings icon may be located in the Setup folder.
 ( i don't have email settings icon here any more after i restore my bb ) ? what i'm supposed do now ?

Did you do as recommended above?

problem is after i restore my bb storm 2 the MMS is missing and all my service book is missing . i don't try option above because on setup i don't have email icon

note: i don't have acess on internet now i need service book to download to pc and transfer to bb how i will do that ?

You must send the Service Books via one of the two methods outlined above, over the air, through your wireless carrier signal. You can not load them to your PC and then to your device.

hey

the problem is i have PagePlus and can't setup email here and if i can't setup email how i will receveid service book from internet direct to my device ?

note:  i have 2 bb storm 9550 1 still normal no problem can i transfer service book from them

note 2 : when i take a picture right if i go on picture and click on send or share before i have 2 options ( email ) and ( MMS ) now i have only email avalaible how i fix this MMS is missing

I guess this should have been my first question then:

Do you have THE BlackBerry Data Plan on your account?

Does PagePlus even offer THE BlackBerry Data Plan?

You must have THE BlackBerry Data Plan to be able to send the Service Books.

Why did it work before? Perhaps the phone was earlier activated on a BlackBerry Internet Service account and had the service book needed for MMS. At some point lately, a reboot of the device or something remove the service book.

i do have data plan

but internet is not working because i have verizon plan before,and move to page plus and keep same number person who sell page plus says my internet will not working because the phone is active before on verizon ...thats why i can't resend the service book to my phone via email i only have wi-fi at home ok..but if you know how to unlock the internet that will be good because my page plus plan give me 40 mb data per mo.

everything happened because i did update OS to 5.0 and now the MMS is gone !!

if  i transfer the service book from my wife phone ( same model ) to my phone will work  ?

I'm confused. I asked IF you had THE BlackBerry Data Plan. Not some generic data plan.
