connect to internet

i have a BlackBerry curve 8900, it was originally from Vodafone but i had it unlocked so i now have it on virgin mobile. i call virgin and they give me a long number with full stops after every 3 numbers, a user name and password, a home page that i should have and an IP port

when asked where this information was on my phone or where i was supposed to put it they said go to settings and that's it. what do i do?

if you could help it would be much appreciated! thanks

Re: connect to internet

Check the Options/Tools/Settings icon on your devcie, it could be called one of those three terms.

Then click on Advanced and then TCP/APN settings.

Does that look like what they intended for you to do?

Re: connect to internet

You enter the APN where it states.

You enter the username and pw where it states.

There others, you don't.
