i have a BlackBerry curve 8900, it was originally from Vodafone but i had it unlocked so i now have it on virgin mobile. i call virgin and they give me a long number with full stops after every 3 numbers, a user name and password, a home page that i should have and an IP port
when asked where this information was on my phone or where i was supposed to put it they said go to settings and that's it. what do i do?
if you could help it would be much appreciated! thanks

Check the Options/Tools/Settings icon on your devcie, it could be called one of those three terms.
Then click on Advanced and then TCP/APN settings.
Does that look like what they intended for you to do?

there is only tcp/ip option in advanced options. there are two options there APN Settings enables . and and APN authentication is enabled.
where should i enter the IP address, homepage, access point, port number? also username and password?

You enter the APN where it states.
You enter the username and pw where it states.
There others, you don't.
