For some reason these options are greyed out which means I can't sync contact info between FB and the list on my BB, I know there are several people having this problem...

As of this moment I am using FB 1.7 and BB OS 5.0.0.238 but i had the same troubles with FB 1.7 and OS'es 5.0.0.190 and 4.7.0.xx

does anyone know a fix for this?

Is your BlackBerry device on a corporate BES account?

I am having the exact same problem and I am NOT on a BES account.

Device model: Curve 8310

Carrier:Rogers

Device OS: 4.5.0.81

I am also experiencing the same issue: both options for Contacts and Calendar are grayed out.  I am using a BES service on my account.

Is this an issue/restriction on FB v1.7?  As I recall, this was working correctly on previous versions of the FB application.

I have also same issue with CURVE 9300 with 6.0 OS and FB 2.0 ver. I am using BES service.
