constant task in progress

I have a 8350i and during a web search the little task in progress clock in the middle of the screen will not stop activating. Which makes any operation impossible what canI do to get this to stop or is it updating itself? I work graveyard and it seems to do it around 2am until about 7-9 or so?????

Re: constant task in progress

Look at Options > Security > Memory Cleaning.

Do you have that enabled?

Re: constant task in progress

Sure, will fix that.

So, do NOT enable Memory Cleaning. It will only slow down the device more.

For your issue, you must have some application running in the background... look Menu > Switch Applications. That will show ALL apps running in the background.

The easiest way to close all, is With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.
