deleting apps?

Hi, confused again! I downloaded a free weather app to my Curve, found out it's pretty useless here in the UK, (eg we're having torential rain and it says occasional clouds, and only offers current state with no forecast) so - want to delete it. I've followed the instructions but it artchives it.Seems a waste of memory space to keep at all. Is there any way to zap it?

Hi there!

 

If it is not showing in the truly installed apps list (Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options [skip this with some OS levels] > Applications), then it is not installed. I've noticed that often AppWorld does archive when you do the first app deletion (from that list of truly installed apps). If you go to AppWorld and delete it from your MyWorld list, it should go away completely. Sometimes a batt-pull reboot after that also helps to clear it out.

Looks like I'm stuck with a ghost in my phone! It doesn't appear to be actually installed - but when I tried going into appworld, my apps it still won't delete. Delete is an option but it just doesn't. Tried the battery pull too but no change!
