trouble with email setup

I got the new 3g Curve 9300 a few days ago.

I go to email setup and i add my hotmail account.
it says "you have succesfully added (email address). A new icon has been added to the home screen. you can use this mailbox to send and receive new email from your device."

But there is no new icon on the home screen. On the page that it gives this message it shows that clock icon, like its working, but it just stays like that.

I have tried this with other email addresses too but no luck

Hey pysznyi,

 

Have you checked to make sure that none of the icons are hidden? Have you checked in Options - Advance Options - Service Books to see if you have the Hotmail account listed? If you are missing the service books and the icon is not hidden they you may have an issue with your data package.  You may want to contact your service provider and have them double check to make sure you have the feature that allows you to access email.
